EL84 / 6BQ5 - Tung-Sol

The Tung-Sol brand is now owned by the American New Sensor Corporation and is manufactured at the Xpo-Pul - Reflektor factory in Saratov, Russia. The Tung-Sol EL84/6BQ5 power pentode tube is a reissue of the original tube made popular in American-made guitar amps using the EL84 power tube, and made by firms such as Gibson.  Due to its conservative ratings, and rugged construction it is the most reliable current production EL84 available for use in Vox AC30 amps. It is also an ideal replacement for EL84 hi-fi amplifiers. 

Note: These tubes have a marginally bigger diameter than other EL84 tubes, so they cannot be installed into some '90's era Marshall DSL201 or DSL401 amplifiers, and some reissue Vox AC15 amps.  Please confirm before ordering.
